PDF, images and PPTXPDF, PNG, JPEG, TIFF, HEIC, PPTX and text. Old PPT, PPS, POT, ODP and Keynote files convert to modern .pptx.

Quality and size

Quality modesOriginal (untouched), print (lossless), high (the default), or a custom ppi and JPEG quality.
Target sizeAsk for a file size in MB and Slide PRESS works to it.
Restore originalsPuts back untouched source pictures where Office re-encodes them as JPEG when exporting to PDF.

PDF options

Grayscale, metadata and passwordConvert to grayscale, strip metadata, set an open password.
Page ranges and image optionsPick pages such as 1-3, 5, 8-, set image dpi and quality, keep transparency in PNG and TIFF.

Workflow

Engine, folders and queueChoose the Office or iWork engine, an output folder and suffix, and watch a queue window.
Replace and command lineReplace the original (old files go to the Trash), or run it from Terminal with the slidepress command.
